Responsibility details are not available.
A set of injection-molded plastic figures, Afrikakorps (Deutsches Afrika Korps, the period of the Second World War), in 1:35 scale from Master Box. The box holds a genre scene with German tankmen of the North African campaign and a donkey with a load. The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The set captures an everyday scene from the desert campaign in North Africa. The figures are in relaxed poses in the typical tropical dress of the Afrikakorps – light shirts, tropical caps and dust goggles. The donkey with its handler gives the scene the genre, more everyday character that Master Box figure sets often use to bring a diorama to life.
Glue the parts with cement for plastic and clean up the joints. For figures a primer works well, then layering from the base tones and a wash into the folds; drybrushing will bring out the edges. A desert scene benefits from dust pigments and faded tones of the tropical uniforms. Finish the faces and the animal with a brush.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
