Eduard 1:35 AH-64A Apache Early SPACE is a set of 3D decals for the cockpit of the American attack helicopter.
Responsibility details are not available.
The SPACE line is built on decals that are not flat. The print has relief, so that once applied the dials, switches and consoles cast a shadow of their own and look like separate parts. They go onto the model with tweezers and a drop of white glue, which is a considerably quicker route than assembling tiny metal parts.
The early Apaches still had a cockpit of the classic kind. In front of the crew was an area densely filled with dial instruments and around it the side consoles full of switches, which from a model's point of view is an ideal subject for 3D printing. The gunner in front also had a different layout of controls from the pilot behind, so the two places in the cockpit differ visibly.
Spray the surface under the decal smoothly and let it cure properly, otherwise the relief will not take evenly. Moisten only the backing paper with a sponge, lift the element off with tweezers and seat it in a drop of PVA glue (white glue). Do not use a decal softener at all: the chemicals attack the printed resin and ruin the element. Finally go over the area lightly with a matte varnish, so that the sheen does not distract.
The set contains decals only. The model of the helicopter, paints and varnish do not belong to it.
