An airbrush stencil in 1:35 scale with the motif of painted German propaganda slogans on the walls of buildings in a diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
A painted slogan on a wall is one of the quickest ways to give a scene a sense of period and place. An airbrush stencil creates it directly in paint, so no glossy island of carrier film appears on the render as it does with a decal, and the slogan can easily be left faded, broken by fallen render or partly painted over.
The stencil carries painted German propaganda slogans, that is the sloganeering texts that appear in period photographs on gable walls, on fences and on gates. It will serve on the facade of a model house, on a demolition site and on a backdrop behind a vehicle. Compare the layout of the individual motifs and their size with the area they are aimed at beforehand, so that they fit the wall.
Let the wall dry completely and dust it off. Lay the stencil down over its whole area and press it down or fix it around the edge with masking tape. Spray square on, at a low pressure and in several light coats, so that the paint does not creep under the edge. On rough render, leave the slogan deliberately imperfect, with gaps in the hollows. Take the stencil off while the paint is still wet and wipe it at once. Before you go to the model, try the spray out on a piece of cardboard and set the pressure and the thinning.
Paints, a model building and other materials are not part of this item, unless stated otherwise. The recommended thinning and the way to fix the stencil are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
