Plastic figure set Allied forces, North Africa (Second World War) from Master Box in 1:35 scale - five figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic figure set from the line devoted to the desert battles in North Africa in the Second World War. It contains five figures of soldiers of the Allied armies in period gear suited to a hot climate. The set is meant to be glued and painted and suits a desert diorama.
From 1940 to 1943 extensive fighting took place in North Africa between the Allied forces and the units of the Axis. On the Allied side British contingents alternated with units from the Dominions and from other Allied armies; the individual figures reflect the variety of the tropical uniforms and headgear of the time. The composition of the set is built on the subject of soldiers in a desert setting.
Cut the figures from the sprue, clean up the joints and glue them with cement for plastic. Paint the desert uniforms in sand and khaki tones; for a realistic look add dust pigments to the boots and the lower parts of the trousers. Shade the skin and the faces in layers and unify the whole scene with a matte clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
