A resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not a kit but a set of ammunition belts in 12.7 mm caliber, the American .50 cal. The set brings heavy machine guns, gun mounts and ammunition boxes on military vehicles, ships and aircraft in 1:35 scale to life.
The 12.7 mm cartridge was among the most widespread heavy machine gun ammunition of the Western armies, typically in combination with the M2 Browning machine gun. The resin version faithfully captures the individual rounds and the links of the belt, which can be arranged over a gun mount or left hanging from a box.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand them down. Protect your airways when sanding resin. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the cartridge cases in a brass metallic, the projectiles in a copper or lead tone, and weather the whole lightly for a realistic metal look.
This is an accessory, not a complete kit. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
