Ammo Box Goryunov 1:35 is a 3D-printed resin accessory for dioramas and detail work that represents an ammunition box for the Soviet Goryunov machine gun.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a separate detail accessory, not a model of a vehicle or a weapon. The set from the manufacturer Firma49 contains a resin ammunition box printed by 3D technology in 1:35 scale. It serves to bring dioramas, vehicles and crewed emplacements to life.
The subject is an ammunition box for the Soviet SG-43 Goryunov heavy machine gun, which appeared during the Second World War as a replacement for the older Maxim. The machine gun used a belt in 7.62 mm caliber, and the ammunition boxes served to carry and store the belts at the weapon and on vehicles.
Before separating the resin parts from their carrier supports, dip them briefly in hot water or warm them with a hair dryer: the material softens slightly and does not shatter while being cut, and once cooled it hardens again. Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water, glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your breathing while sanding. We recommend a base of primer and then picking out the edges and weathering with a wash and pigments.
It is supplied as unpainted resin parts. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
