This is a set of fine resin accessories (3D printed) representing ammunition boxes for the German MG 34 and MG 42 machine guns. It is not a vehicle model but a detail set intended for superdetailing dioramas, figure scenes and military equipment in 1:35 scale. The set contains both closed and open boxes, some with a belt of rounds suggested, so they can be placed as loaded and as ready material alike.
Ammunition boxes were part of the typical field equipment of machine gun teams and of armored vehicle crews. Adding them to fenders, into the bed of a vehicle or around figures makes a scene more believable and adds scale detail.
First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water, cut the support blocks off carefully and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend priming the base and painting with an airbrush or a brush; the ironwork and the cartridges come out well once a wash has been run into the recesses.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without glue. Paints and other materials are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
