British ammunition boxes for the Bren machine gun 1:35 from PANZER ART: twelve resin castings as an accessory for a diorama. It is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set in 1:35 scale contains twelve British sheet-metal ammunition boxes for the Bren light machine gun. It is an accessory for a finished model or for a scene, not a vehicle kit. Twelve pieces are enough to make a whole pile at a firing position, a load on a truck bed and individual boxes scattered around the crew.
The Bren was the standard light machine gun of the British and Allied infantry in the Second World War. Ammunition was carried to it in sheet-metal boxes with a lid and a folding handle, in which filled magazines were carried. The boxes went everywhere with the section, so they appear in photographs by trenches, on armored personnel carriers and on trucks, and they belong in every infantry scene.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent and free them of mold release agent, otherwise paint will not hold on them. Cut off the casting blocks and true the cut with a file, and protect your airways while sanding. Resin is joined with super glue, that is, with cyanoacrylate. Then lay down a primer and the base tone. Sheet metal looks convincing when you work a lighter shade into the edges and let a dark seeping coat into the seams, which brings out the catches and the rivets.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
