Responsibility details are not available.
A set of a public address loudspeaker in a square form for a diorama in 1:35 scale. It holds two resin parts and a fret of photo-etched parts. It is not a kit but a small scenic element that is fixed to a post, to the corner of a building or to a vehicle.
A public address loudspeaker is one of the strongest elements that can be added to a period scene. It reveals the era and the setting at once, whether it is a square, a station, a factory or a military post. It is also a vertical detail high above the ground, where the viewer usually does not look, so it adds another level to a scene and a view upwards.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry. Cut the casting blocks off and level the area, and protect your breathing while sanding. Bend the photo-etched parts over a metal rule. The sheet metal of a loudspeaker looks convincing after a rich base completed with rust in the places where water runs into it, that is along the lower edge and around the mounts. Add the cable from thin wire run down the post; without it the loudspeaker looks stuck on.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue and paints are not included in the box.
