This set brings faithfully made barrel cleaning rods with their holders for the earliest variants of the German heavy tank Tiger I in 1:35 scale. The parts are made by the Elefant brand by 3D printing and casting in resin. It is not a tank model but a detailing accessory that replaces the simplified parts from the plastic kit.
A set of cleaning rods served to swab out and clean the bore of the barrel and was carried on tanks in holders on the hull. The placement and the design of the holders differed on the Tiger I according to the production period, which is why this set is aimed precisely at the initial and very early vehicles. The fine detail of the rods and of the brackets brings the side of the model to life.
Separate the resin parts from the casting blocks, clean them up and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the metal rods as steel and give them a light patina; render the wooden sections of the brackets as layered wood. Protect your airways while sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
