A 3D-printed rotary cannon bay for the A-10C Thunderbolt II in 1:48 scale from Eduard. A detail accessory, not a model of the aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set provides a faithfully rendered bay for the rotary cannon of the American Fairchild-Republic A-10C Thunderbolt II attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is a detail accessory made by direct 3D printing in resin, which opens up the view of the massive seven-barrel rotary cannon of the GAU-8/A Avenger system, the item around which the whole structure of the aircraft is built.
The set contains the cannon itself with its ammunition (the ammunition drum), the cannon bay and its covers. The parts allow the weapon bay to be shown open, creating one of the most attractive views of this machine. Intended for A-10C models in this scale.
Wash the parts free of print resin residue and separate them carefully from the print supports. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and protect your airways while sanding. Bring out the metal parts with a dark wash and metallic shades.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
