A resin set of accessories and cargo for bringing a plastic model of the British Bren Carrier (Universal Carrier) light tracked carrier to life. It is not a model of the vehicle but a set of castings that adds realistic cargo, ammunition, canvas and personal kit to the hull and the fenders. The castings come from the Czech manufacturer Black Dog, known for the quality of its resin castings.
The Universal Carrier, commonly called the Bren Carrier, was a universal light tracked carrier of the British and Allied armies in the Second World War. The open hull was typically filled with equipment by its crews, which makes this set ideal for a believable rendering.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts in lukewarm soapy water. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Once primed, an airbrush works well for the base and washes or pigments for the mud and dust effects.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model of the vehicle itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
