Responsibility details are not available.
A set of Star Decals markings in 1:35 scale for the British 4th Armoured Brigade and the 27th Armoured Brigade. According to the name it holds the brigade sign and AoS markings.
The 4th Armoured Brigade has one of the longest careers of the British armored units behind it. It fought in North Africa, went through further Mediterranean theaters and finally ended up in Northwest Europe, where it was already operating as an independent brigade supporting the infantry. The 27th Armoured Brigade, by contrast, existed only briefly: it went into Normandy armed among other things with amphibious tanks intended to swim from the landing ships to the shore, and after the Normandy fighting ended it was disbanded in the summer of 1944, with its regiments passing to other formations. For a collector of markings it is an interesting pair precisely because of that contrast.
The short existence of the 27th Brigade dates every model with its sign to a narrow window in 1944, which affects the stowage and the patina of the vehicle as well. With the 4th Brigade, by contrast, consider which period you are building, because machines from Africa and from the Netherlands differ in coat and in equipment. Apply the markings onto a smooth gloss surface and press the smaller rectangles down so that no air cushion is left.
You will find only the markings in the package; a model, paints and varnishes are not included.
