An injection-molded plastic kit of the British light ATMP off-road vehicle in the airborne version with the WMIK fit in 1:35 scale from Gecko Models. Besides the plastic parts the box also contains photo-etched parts, decals and a driver figure. The model uses fine detail and slide-mold technology.
The ATMP is a British light off-road platform able to move in difficult terrain and to be carried by air, used by airborne and rapidly deployable units. The WMIK fit adds a tubular structure for mounting machine guns and other supporting armament, which turns a transport platform into a lightly armed reconnaissance and support vehicle.
Prepare the running gear and the interior before closing the frame. Attach the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply primer before painting; the deck and frame surfaces take washes and pigments for dust and mud effects nicely. Paint the driver figure separately and fit it at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
