Plastic figure set British infantry before the attack (First World War) from Master Box in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic figure set captures British infantrymen in a trench just before going over the top in the First World War. Besides five soldier figures the set also contains parts for building a section of trench, which forms the basis of a small diorama. Everything is supplied to be glued and painted.
Trench warfare on the Western Front from 1914 to 1918 meant long periods of staying in fortified lines, broken by short and bloody attacks across no man's land. British soldiers wore the Brodie helmet, webbing equipment and the Lee-Enfield rifle. The figures capture the tense moments just before the signal to advance.
Cut the figures and the trench parts out, clean them up and glue them with cement for plastic. The walls of the trench look best with an earth texture, washes and dust pigments. Paint the khaki uniforms in restrained tones and pick out the muddy lower areas with pigments. Shade the faces in layers and unify the scene with a matte clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
