A resin figure of a British infantryman in 1:35 scale from the Polish brand PANZER ART, the manufacturer's part number FI35-202. The manufacturer offers it as the first figure of a pair: under the code FI35-203 it has figure number 2 and under FI35-204 both of them together as a set. The figure will complement a model of a vehicle or a diorama scene; on its own it is not a model.
British infantry went into Normandy in woolen battledress, with the Mk III helmet, which was called the turtle for its shape, and with 1937 Pattern webbing. The main weapon was the Lee-Enfield No. 4 bolt-action rifle, and the platoon was supported by the Bren light machine gun. In the bocage, that is in country divided by high hedgerows, the infantry moved close to the tanks, which is why these figures suit British vehicles so well.
Wash the casting in warm soapy water and cut the casting blocks off; sand wet and do not breathe in the dust. It is bonded with super glue. The woolen battledress comes out well from a medium warm khaki, which you lighten on the raised areas and deepen in the folds. Apply the paint over primer. Roughen the helmet with a matte varnish so that it does not look like plastic.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
