Tamiya 1:35 British Infantry On Patrol is an injection-molded set of five plastic figures of British infantry on patrol in the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic figure set in 1:35 scale from the Japanese maker Tamiya. It contains five British infantrymen advancing warily on patrol - among them a section commander, a loader and riflemen. Weapons and gear are included: a Sten submachine gun, a Bren light machine gun, Enfield rifles, pouches and packs. The figures are meant to be assembled and painted.
The figures show British infantry of the Second World War period in natural poses while scouting the ground. The gear and weapons match the equipment of a British infantry section of the day, which combined a bolt-action rifle with a light machine gun and a submachine gun.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with thin cement for plastic. Apply a primer, then build the battledress and khaki shades with an airbrush and a brush. A fine wash into the folds and shadows will bring out the breakdown of the gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
