Responsibility details are not available.
A combined item from Black Dog which, according to the name, brings together Royal Marines and an Argentine soldier. For a builder of a scene that is a practical solution: instead of assembling it from two separate purchases he gets both sides at once and can turn straight to the composition.
A pair of figures is the smallest arrangement in which a relationship arises. Distance and angle decide: figures turned exactly toward each other look posed, while a slight offset and a difference in head height give the scene naturalness. Leave an open area of the base between them; the empty space between two figures is part of the message and a cluttered base swallows it. Setting the whole pair off center rather than in the middle of the base also works well.
The principle is not to make one side clean and the other neglected. Both figures went through the same weather and the same terrain, so the layer of grime should be comparable; what should tell them apart is the cut and the shade of the clothing, not the amount of dirt. Unify the groundwork under their feet too, so that it is clear they are standing on the same soil. A final matte unifying of the surface will visually join the two figures.
