Paratroopers reach their area by air and after landing act as light infantry carrying everything with them. The figures therefore look compact: the kit drawn in to the body, the clothing closed and every movement subordinated to keeping nothing in the way. The number two in the name refers to a line in which the individual figures differ in stance, so they can be bought one at a time and added gradually.
That is exactly where the line is useful: you put a small group together to your own idea and do not have to take figures you will not use in the scene. Two or three figures side by side already create a story, especially when one is facing a different way from the rest. In 1:35 scale an adult comes to about five centimeters, so the figure fits vehicles, buildings and accessories in the same scale and in a display case gives the model an understandable size.
Cut any excess material away a little distance from the part with a sharp blade, sand the remainder and wash and degrease the surface before painting. Use cyanoacrylate glue for the joining, as it holds on ordinary modeling materials. If you are building several figures from one line, vary the skin shades and the degree of grime slightly, or side by side they will look like copies. Take the uniform from a darker base up to lighter coats, let a wash into the folds, go over the edges with a dry brush and finally unify the surface with a matte varnish.
The figure suits modelers who put a scene together gradually and want control over the choice of figures, and also those looking for a single figure for a finished vehicle model. Painting one figure is manageable even without an airbrush; a brush will do.
