A set of resin figures of a tank crew in British service in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. They are not parts of the vehicle or a model of it, but figures you place beside a finished tank, in its hatches or in a diorama scene. On a model of a military vehicle the crew is the element that helps most with scale and gives a static display scene a story.
The manufacturer makes further items on the same theme: a commander on his own, a loader on his own, a set of figures for the turret and this crew set. The individual sets differ in the number and the poses of the figures; the make-up of a particular one is stated on its box, so choose the one that matches the scene you are building.
Wash the castings first in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap so that no release agent is left on the surface. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and finish the surfaces by wet sanding with respiratory protection. Resin is joined with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); cement for plastic does not work here. With a multi-figure set it pays to arrange all the figures dry on the model first and find their positions, and only then glue them. Paint whole figures, but with the same palette, so the crew looks unified, and even out the whole group at the end with a matte varnish.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the vehicle model are not included in the package.
