An injection-molded plastic set of figures in 1:35 scale from Master Box. The set depicts British soldiers from the fighting in Normandy in 1944, specifically from the area of Caen. The figures are caught in natural combat poses with period equipment and weapons. They come on sprues and have to be glued and painted. The exact number of figures is stated on the packaging.
The fighting for Caen was among the hardest of the Allied invasion of Normandy after the landings in June 1944. For weeks on end, British and Allied units fought their way through strongly defended ground. The British infantry of that time wore a characteristic helmet and 1937 Pattern web equipment. The set captures the combat reality of that campaign as it was.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and clean up the parting lines. Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement. Paint the uniforms in acrylics in khaki tones, use a dark wash in the folds and bring out the edges with a dry brush. Build the faces up in thinned layers. A matte varnish at the end will unify the surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
