A precise turned metal accessory for models in 1:35 scale fitted with the American Browning M1919 machine gun in .30 cal (7.62 mm). The box holds two turned brass barrels with a two-piece conical muzzle and a finely drilled cooling jacket. This is not a model but a detail replacement part for vehicles, artillery and figure and diorama scenes.
The metal barrels have a sharp muzzle without mold seams, a clean bore and a convincing cooling jacket that plastic cannot reach. They are also more resistant to bending and breaking. A machine gun, which in a diorama is often in the foreground, thus gains realistic and fine detail.
Cut off the plastic barrel, drill a hole into the remaining part and glue the metal barrel in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The two-piece muzzle assembles easily into its conical shape.
This is an add-on detail set, not a complete kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
