A set of resin road wheels from PANZER ART in 1:35 scale in the version with the rubber tire burnt and melted away, intended for the German Panther medium tank. It is not a kit but a detail accessory. The wheels capture the state faithfully where a fire in the vehicle burned the rubber tire away and left the steel disc bare or deformed, an ideal feature for a disabled or knocked-out machine in a diorama.
The Panther (Pz.Kpfw. V) was a German medium tank of the Second World War with its characteristic interleaved running gear of large wheels. On a hit and the fire that followed, the rubber tires of the wheels often burned away, which is a typical mark of wrecks and of combat-damaged vehicles. A detail like this gives a scene a dramatic authenticity.
Wash the parts free of release agent residue, cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a sharp knife and sand the mating surfaces. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding resin. The burnt places come out in dark shades with a suggestion of rust and burnt steel, while pigments finish off the soot and the ash.
The accessory does not hold the model itself, the glue or the paints. It is intended for completing a kit you already have.
