A set of photo-etched detail parts in 1:35 scale from Tamiya. It is not a kit but an accessory made of thin etched sheet, with which you replace or complete the fine parts of the Challenger 2 tank model. Etched parts look more realistic than thicker plastic ones.
The Challenger 2 is a British main battle tank that entered service around the turn of the millennium. It is marked by prominent side skirts over the running gear and by a number of small features on the turret and hull that lend themselves to being refined in etched metal.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and make the bends along the etched score lines. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) in small drops and dry-fit the parts first. Degrease the metal before painting and apply primer for better adhesion.
