Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the light robot Chubu 01 in 1:35 scale from the Japanese company Hasegawa. It belongs to the same artistic family as the popular MechatroWeGo range, so the two work well side by side in a display case or in a diorama. The build of these little machines tends to be short, and what decides the result is mainly the surface and the color combination. Check the number of parts and the exact contents of the package against the box.
Chubu 01 comes from the Japanese Mechatro artistic range, which builds on small robots with a prominent cabin and simple, rounded shapes. Structurally it is a light type, that is, the slimmer and less armored sibling of the more robust machines of the same family. The subject is fictional; it is not equipment that ever existed, so neither the color scheme nor the markings are tied to anything.
Use a thin cement for polystyrene and fill the joints, as rounded surfaces otherwise pick out every gap. A primer and an even coat from an airbrush pay off more on this kind of model than on intricate equipment. Pick out the engraved lines with a capillary paneliner and treat the weathering with restraint, so that the model keeps its playful character. Fit the clear parts at the end and cement them with a glue for transparent parts.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
