1:35 Crates for 8cm Raketen-Vielfachwerfer is an accessory set of transport crates for the rockets of the German 8 cm multiple rocket launcher in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings transport crates for the ammunition of the German 8cm Raketen-Vielfachwerfer rocket launcher in 1:35 scale. It is not a model of the weapon or of a vehicle but an accessory for a diorama. The crates suit use as cargo, as a stock at a firing position or as a detail beside figures of the crew. The full contents are given on the box of the set.
The 8cm Raketen-Vielfachwerfer was a German multiple rocket launcher of the Second World War, which drew on experience with captured Soviet rocket equipment. It was mounted on the chassis of tracked and halftrack vehicles, so it appeared with units that needed quickly movable fire support. Its ammunition was brought up in crates, which the crew handled while loading right at the weapon.
Clean the parts up, wash them and let them dry, and only then lay on a base coat. Crates benefit from layering: a base shade, a thin wash in the joints and finally a dry brush on the edges. Suggest knocks and traces of handling with fine stippling in a darker shade. In a scene they look best set out irregularly, some open and some stacked close to the weapon or the vehicle.
This is an accessory set, not a model of the rocket launcher.
