Friulmodel metal tracks in 1:35 scale are a replacement set of individual white metal links for the British Cromwell Mk.IV cruiser tank. It is not a model but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic or rubber tracks from the boxed kit. Links joined with metal pins make up a workable run with a convincing weight and a natural sag.
The Cromwell was a British cruiser tank of the second half of the Second World War, valued above all for its high speed and mobility thanks to a powerful engine and its suspension. It was used mainly in the fighting in western Europe after the Normandy landings. The set replaces its tracks faithfully.
First clean the flash off the individual links and fit them together. They are joined with metal pins made from the enclosed wire, which you cut to length, and the result is a genuinely workable run that follows the road wheels and the natural sag between them. Metal holds paint and pigments excellently, so we recommend painting and weathering the tracks before fitting them to the model. On fast cruiser tanks the natural sag of the run between the road wheels stands out.
This is a detail set of metal tracks, not a vehicle model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
