Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic set of five figures in 1:35 scale from the maker Master Box. The subject is a dramatic moment from the American Civil War: Confederate infantry in close combat. The figures have separate heads, arms and accessories, so they can be arranged into a composition of your own both on and off the sprue. The set is intended to be glued and painted; the plastic is not painted.
The American Civil War (1861-1865) brought soldiers of both sides in simple woolen uniforms with period equipment, muskets and sabers. The scene captures infantry moving forward, with dynamic poses suited to depicting an attack or a defensive line. The uniforms, belts, pouches and blankets offer rewarding scope for shades of gray, brown and leather.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and clean up the small joints with a fine file. Before painting, go over the whole thing with a primer coat, which unifies the surface. Layering flesh tones works well on the faces and hands, and drybrushing on the cloth to bring out the folds. The weathering is helped by a dark wash in the recesses and fine pigments on the boots and the lower hems of the uniforms.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
