A set of injection-molded plastic figures, Soviet infantry in action of 1941-1942 (the Eastern Front), in 1:35 scale from Master Box. The box contains four figures of Red Army soldiers in dynamic combat poses. The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The set captures Soviet infantry in the early phase of the fighting on the Eastern Front. The figures carry early war gear and weapons – Mosin rifles with fixed bayonets, PPSh submachine guns and a light machine gun, together with canteens, bread bags and entrenching tools. Alternative heads with a helmet and with a side cap are usually included, so the figures can be varied slightly.
Glue the parts with cement for plastic and clean up the joints. For figures a primer works well, then layering from the base tones, a wash into the folds of the uniforms and edge highlighting with drybrushing; finish the faces and the gear with a brush. The set brings a diorama of the early phase of the fighting in the east to life nicely.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
