This is a resin detail set, not a model. It contains a casting of the canvas cover for the cab, with sagging fabric, folds and tensioning details, for the German standardized truck Einheitsdiesel. It replaces the open or simplified cab from the kit and gives the vehicle the variant with the canvas fitted.
The Einheitsdiesel was a German standardized heavy truck with all-wheel drive, developed in the 1930s as a single uniform type for the Wehrmacht. It served in many roles, from carrying cargo and troops to acting as a carrier for equipment, and it was used on every front of the Second World War.
Wash the mold release agent off the part, cut the casting block away and bond it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Bring the fabric out with a dry brush and light shades; gentle dusting with pigments and shadows in the folds give the canvas credibility.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
