1:35 Elefant - Zimmerit Coating Sheet

Zimmerit sheet for the Elefant 1:35 (Tamiya)

An adhesive sheet with the texture of Zimmerit for the model of the German Elefant heavy tank destroyer in 1:35 scale from the Tamiya brand. It is not a model and not a paint but a self-adhesive set that easily imitates the anti-magnetic Zimmerit paste. It is enough to stick the sheet onto the parts of the model and paint over it, which does away with the laborious and demanding application of two-part putty. The set usually holds two texture patterns matching the marking options of the kit.

Use

• Trim the sheet to the shape of the part and peel off the backing layer
• Stick it onto the relevant surfaces of the Elefant model from Tamiya
• Smooth the edges down carefully so that none of them stands away
• Once stuck down, paint over it together with the model in the usual way

Who the set is for

For modelers who want to create Zimmerit on their Elefant quickly and cleanly without working with putty. It suits less experienced builders as well.

This is not a model and not a paint but an add-on adhesive set for the Elefant model. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
