The set of the PANZER ART marque in 1:35 scale covers two related German designs at once, the medium E-50 as well as the heavy E-75. Both came from a common conception of the running gear, so one set of tracks complemented by drive sprockets will serve with both kits.
The German development program of the last years of the war was meant to simplify production by having a series of unified vehicles graded by weight arise instead of dozens of different chassis. The E-50 was to cover the medium category and to replace the Panther, the E-75 the category above it. Neither of them lived to see a prototype built, yet both became a fixture in the offering of kits and accessories and belong among the most frequently built unrealized projects of all.
Because the kits of the E-50 and E-75 come from different manufacturers and differ in details of the hull, first try dry how the track wraps around the wheels on your particular model. The idler wheel usually needs to be shifted slightly. The teeth of the drive sprocket have to seat into the links without force, otherwise the track twists during further work and the sag loses its natural shape.
The package offers an accessory for the running gear, not a finished or a part-built vehicle.
