This is a photo-etched detail set, not a vehicle kit. It contains a range of fine metal straps and fastening bands with buckles with which stowed loads, tools, jerrycans, tarpaulins and the crew's personal equipment are realistically secured on models of armored vehicles. They replace coarse plastic imitations and give a model a look true to scale.
The straps suit every diorama scene as well as a standalone model. Metal etch can be shaped exactly, bent over edges and left hanging loose, so that a strap looks as if it really were tensioning the object it holds. The set is all-round and will be used on practically any model of a tank or armored vehicle in the same scale.
Nip the parts carefully out of the fret and clean them up. Use a photo-etch bending tool or two blades for the bends. Glue the straps with cyanoacrylate glue; once dry they can be painted and weathered together with the rest of the model. Degreasing the etch before painting is recommended.
This is a metal photo-etched set of accessories. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
