This is not a kit but a set of photo-etched brass parts from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, meant to refine a plastic model of the British Ferret Scout Car Mk.2 reconnaissance vehicle in 1:35 scale. It replaces and supplements items that injection-molded plastic can only render in a simplified way.
The photo-etched parts add fine detail that plastic cannot reach - thin fender edges, grilles, tool clamps, eyes, light guards and other small items. The result is a more faithful, more scale-accurate look for the finished vehicle.
The parts are broken out of the fret, cleaned up and bent according to the drawing (a bending tool and tweezers help). They are best glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with epoxy; degrease the brass before painting and spray it with a primer. The set comes bare and is meant to be painted together with the model.
This is an accessory set, not a complete model. The plastic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
