A figure of a Ukrainian soldier with a tablet in his hand in 1:35 scale. It suits dioramas with present-day equipment and serves as a display-case piece in its own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
The figure captures a soldier in present-day field gear at the moment when he is watching the display of a tablet. Portable devices of this kind belong to the equipment of ground units today: they serve for orientation in map material, for passing on coordinates and for operating unmanned vehicles. The figure therefore comes across naturally in a scene of today and differs from older figures, which hold only a weapon.
It is one figure in 1:35 scale. In this scale an adult soldier comes out at roughly 50 mm, and a little less depending on the pose. A figure tends to be close to the observer's eye in a diorama, so it pays to give attention to the shapes of the gear and the hands.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder carefully, so that you do not wipe the fine shapes away. Wash and degrease the surface before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold in the smooth places. A base coat proves its worth, after it the overall shades of the uniform and the gear, and the face and the hands at the end. The display of the tablet stands out when you lay a dark shade under it and add a faint light highlight in the middle. The gluing procedure and the recommended materials are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The figure suits modelers who build scenes of the present day and want to bring them to life with a figure at an ordinary activity. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
