A sheet with a brick paving pattern worked into it in 1:35 scale, meant as a floor inside buildings and as a hard surface in dioramas. Brick paving is a rewarding surface: it has a regular pattern that gives a scene order, and at the same time it can be weathered so that it looks as though somebody has walked on it for decades. It is an accessory for a scene, not a kit.
First wash the sheet in lukewarm soapy water and let it dry. Trim it to the shape you need against the base board of the diorama, level the edges and sand with respiratory protection. It is glued with cyanoacrylate or with two-part glue. Lay down a primer before painting. Never paint brick paving in one color: lay down a base tone, then tone the individual bricks irregularly toward red, brown and gray and pick the joints out with a dark seeping coat. Finally go over the surface with a dry brush so that the edges come out, and let dust from pigment settle along the edges and in the corners.
The set is supplied unpainted and it is an accessory, not a kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
