FN FAL battle rifles in 1:35 scale are small armament for figure scenes from the most varied corners of the world.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of small armament for building figure scenes and for completing interiors. The type of the weapon and the count of four pieces are given in the name of the item; other parameters do not follow from it.
The FAL came about in the nineteen fifties at a Belgian arms works and became one of the most widespread self-loading rifles of the twentieth century. It used the 7.62 x 51 mm cartridge and under license or in direct deliveries it entered the armament of dozens of states across the continents, from Europe through the Middle East to South America and Africa. That is exactly why it appears in scenes from very different conflicts and a modeler can put it to use far more widely than a weapon tied to a single army.
Thin components break off easily, so handle them with tweezers with a soft touch and put them down on a surface they will not roll off. Apply the paint in thin coats; a thick deposit fills the fine engraving and the rifle loses its definition. Make the final highlights on the edges with a dark metallic shade, never with pure silver, which looks artificial at this reduction. The magazine and the rear sight are the most conspicuous shapes and it pays to keep a sharp outline on them.
