A set of small parts for scenes in 1:35 scale from the Dynamo-Models brand, which adds ammunition and attendant equipment to the French 25 mm anti-tank gun. The French Army relied on this caliber at the turn of the 1930s and 1940s as its main means against armored vehicles, so the matching guns stand in many collections both as standalone models and as part of larger scenes.
Cartridge cases scattered by the carriage, an open crate leaning against the gun shield, ready rounds lined up in a row: it is from things like these that the viewer sees the weapon was not merely built but also used. The set is also good for filling the bed of the vehicle towing the gun, or for finishing off a trench position. It also works well as a small divider between figures that gives the scene depth.
Brass comes into its own under a metallic shade overpainted with a thin brown glaze, and the wood of the crates manages with a light base drawn out with oil paints into a grain pattern. Pick out engraved lettering with a dark wash and wipe away the excess, then unify the surface with matte varnish and a light touch of dust matched to the groundwork of the scene. Metal parts lying in the soil take noticeably more dirt than those someone is holding in his hand.
The pack consists of accessory parts only; the gun itself and the figures of its crew are not supplied with it.
