This is a cast resin base intended for making dioramas and vignettes in 1:35 scale. The motif of a gate and the adjoining buildings evokes a Central Asian setting and will serve as a ground for figures, hardware or a free-standing display from recent conflicts. It is not a model of a vehicle or a kit; it is a scenic accessory that will give your display context and narrative depth.
The casting is of resin with a finely rendered surface (masonry, plaster, terrain). Before gluing and painting, wash the remains of the release agent off the parts with lukewarm soapy water, carefully cut the sprue gates off and sand the faces down with respiratory protection. Glue resin joints with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
Treat the surface with primer, spray the base on with an airbrush and bring the relief out with washes and a dry brush. Pigments will add the dust and the dirt; matching the colors of the terrain to the figures and the hardware helps the realism.
Supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin casting. Paints, glue, figures and hardware are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
