A precisely turned metal barrel for models of the German 2cm anti-aircraft gun Flak 38 in 1:35 scale from the Polish brand Master. The package holds one metal barrel with a drilled and slotted flash hider, which replaces the original plastic part and gives the weapon a sharp, scale-faithful look.
The 2cm Flak 38 was the standard light anti-aircraft gun of the German army of the Second World War, developed from the earlier Flak 30 with a higher rate of fire. It was used on towed carriages, on half-track vehicles and on tank chassis (the Flakpanzer, for example) and served against low-flying aircraft as well as ground targets. The characteristic slender barrel with its flash hider is one of the most prominent features of the weapon.
Cut the original plastic barrel off and drill the hole for the new part carefully. Glue the metal barrel with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before painting, lay a base coat (primer) on the metal to ensure the paint adheres; then spray thin coats with an airbrush and bring the barrel into line with the color of the whole weapon.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
