1:35 is the most widespread scale in military modeling, so the figures suit most vehicle kits and diorama accessories from other makers. Injection-molded figures tend to be split into torso, head, limbs and equipment, so a small change of pose or a head swap is usually possible. The figures help the viewer read off the size of the vehicle and give the scene a direction of gaze.
Fill and sand the seams at the shoulders and on the arms carefully, as they show plainly on figures and paint only brings them out further. Spray a base in the shade of the uniform and brush-paint the faces and hands from a darker base toward lighter areas; a convincing result comes from gradual layering, not from a single shade. Bring out the folds with a dark wash and the edges of the equipment with a dry brush. Paint the metal parts of the weapons separately, as they are easier to reach that way. Glue the figure onto the diorama at the very end, once the base is painted.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
