1:35 German latest fire extinguishers with empty holders, 6 pcs. holders with 6 pcs. extingusihers

What the set contains

Small accessories in 1:35 scale: six fire extinguishers of the newer German pattern and with them six separate holders. The holders are supplied empty, so you can fit an extinguisher into them or leave them free where the equipment is meant to be missing. The counts match the figures in the name, that is, six and six.

What it is suited to

A fire extinguisher is part of the equipment of military and civilian vehicles alike and tends to be in a readily accessible place: on a fender, on the side of the cargo bed, by the entrance to the cab or inside on a bulkhead. On a model it is a small item that a viewer notices at once, because the part from the kit tends to be simplified in shape and the holder on it is often merely suggested. The extinguishers work loose in a diorama too, among workshop equipment or on a support vehicle.

• six fire extinguishers and six holders in 1:35 scale
• the holders are supplied empty and can be filled or left free
• an accessory for a kit, not a stand-alone model
• usable as a small prop for a diorama as well
• check the placement on a particular vehicle against your references

Building and painting tips

The parts are not made of polystyrene and cement for plastic models will not hold on them; make the joints with cyanoacrylate glue, therefore. Cut the surplus material away with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and carefully sand the remainder back, so as not to cut into the shape. Wash and degrease the parts before painting, otherwise the paint will flake off during handling. Pieces as small as these are best painted stuck to a skewer or to double-sided tape, where you do not have to touch them. The particular preparation procedure is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
