A plastic set of figures of German infantry in 1:35 scale from the early period of the Second World War. The figures match the years 1939 to 1942 and suit combat as well as camp scenes from the start of the conflict. They combine well with armored vehicles and with other sets from the same manufacturer.
The years 1939 to 1942 represent the early period of the Second World War, when German infantry advanced in the campaigns in Poland, Western Europe and on the Eastern Front. The uniforms and kit of this period differ in detail from the late-war ones, which makes these figures suitable inhabitants for early-war dioramas.
Separate the figures from the sprues and clean up the mold seams. Glue with cement for plastic. Paint the uniforms in field gray-green shades with lightening and shadows in the folds. Finish the faces and the small items of kit with a fine brush, and restrained weathering will complete the overall impression. Early uniforms look cleaner than the late-war ones, so go easy on the mud and rubbing and rather pick out the sharp edges of the kit and the helmets.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
