This injection-molded plastic set in 1:35 scale holds four figures of German soldiers of the Second World War repairing a motorcycle. The figures are caught in working poses bent over the machine, which makes the whole a rewarding genre vignette for a field scene. Small gear and tools come with the figures.
Motorcycles were standard equipment of the German army for communications and reconnaissance, and keeping them running in the field was an everyday routine. A repair crew scene gives an otherwise static diorama a human dimension and suits garage as well as field settings.
Clean up the figures and glue them with liquid cement for plastic; the working poses come out best once the hands and tools are carefully dry-fitted. We recommend a primer and an airbrush. Keep the uniforms and work clothes in field gray and brown shades, bring out the metal tools with a dry brush and add traces of oil and grease for credibility.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
