A richly equipped injection-molded plastic kit of the German Bergepanther Ausf.G recovery vehicle in 1:35 scale from the maker Hobby Boss. The set holds a large number of parts, photo-etched components, cable and individual track links, so a very detailed model of a more demanding character comes out of the box.
The Bergepanther was a heavy recovery vehicle created on the chassis of the Panther tank. In place of a turret it carried a winch, an anchor spade and working equipment for recovering and towing heavy vehicles directly in the field. It was among the most capable recovery means of the German army of the Second World War.
Finish the interior and the running gear before you close the hull up, and the assembly of the individual track links will call for patience. Glue the plastic with a thin cement and the photo-etch with super glue. The vehicle stands out in a late-war camouflage laid down with an airbrush and in a rich patina from washes and pigments for mud and dust.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
