German soldier / EMT Aladin, Afghanistan (1:35) is a resin figure of a German soldier from the deployment in Afghanistan with the Aladin reconnaissance equipment, from Black Dog.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin figure of a German soldier from the operation in Afghanistan, to be assembled and painted. The EMT Aladin in the name is the small hand-launched reconnaissance drone of the German army. The figure serves as an accessory for a modern diorama or for a scene with German hardware of the ISAF mission; it is not a model of a vehicle.
German soldiers deployed in Afghanistan used modern camouflage uniforms, body armor, helmets and personal equipment. The Aladin reconnaissance drone was launched by hand and surveyed the immediate surroundings of the unit, so its operator worked away from the vehicles. The figure captures the typical pose and the equipment of the period.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the parting lines. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue, and sand with your airways protected. We recommend an acrylic base coat and painting in modern German camouflage; bring out the equipment and the small accessories with washes and a dry brush.
It is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
