This 3D-printed resin diorama accessory represents Gothic windows with the characteristic pointed arch and fine tracery. It serves to bring the ruins of churches, monasteries and historical buildings in 1:35 scale to life. It is not a model kit but a standalone scenic element. The parts are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
You set the windows into the masonry of a diorama or use them as part of a ruined facade. Stained glass with light coming through can give a scene a color accent and dramatic light, and you can heighten the effect by backing it with clear film or with a transparent tinting varnish.
First wash the parts and remove the remains of the supports. Clean up the cuts with a sharp knife and a fine file, and glue with super glue. Bring the tracery out with a dark wash and imitate the glass with transparent (tinting) varnishes. Sand the resin with respiratory protection.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and film are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
