According to the name, the set 1:35 Hescos Set (5 pcs) contains five Hesco barrier elements in 1:35 scale. RT-Diorama devotes itself to diorama buildings and scenic accessories, so here too this is not a kit of a vehicle but an element of the setting with which you fence a scene in and organize it.
Hesco barriers are stackable wire mesh baskets with a geotextile liner that are filled on site with earth, sand or gravel. They replaced laborious walls of sandbags and from the 1990s they became the mark of field bases, checkpoints and protected positions. In the field they are used to build both long perimeter lines and short screens around individual positions.
Five elements are enough to create an entrance, a bend or a short protective wall, and too few for a continuous base perimeter. That is exactly why it pays to use them deliberately: mark the boundary of the scene with them, block the view into places where the diorama does not carry on, or build them up in two levels. An irregular arrangement looks more believable than a perfect row. The set can be combined with another set of the same type when you need to extend the line.
