A set of small insulators meant for fitting onto the poles of electrical and telegraph lines in a diorama of 1:35 scale. This is an accessory for completing a scene, not a separately buildable object. Insulators belong among the elements the viewer's eye looks for subconsciously: without them a pole by a road comes across as unfinished, and with them a corner gains legible scale and a technical character at once.
The elements are really small, so it pays to work over a mat with a raised edge and to take them up with tweezers with fine jaws. For seating them a spot drop of cyanoacrylate glue applied with the tip of a pin is amply enough. In color the insulators gain most when they are painted into glass or into porcelain and complemented with inconspicuous dirtying, so that they do not come across as freshly unpacked from a box.
For diorama makers and modelers of hardware who are building the surroundings around a vehicle and want to settle them with believable civilian details. Firma49 is a Czech manufacturer of accessories for modelers and prepares its sets with high-resolution SLA 3D printing technology.
The package contains insulators only. The poles, the lines, the paints and the glue are not part of it.
