1:35 Israeli woman soldier N°4

1:35 Israeli woman soldier N°4, the fourth figure of the line

A standalone resin casting in 1:35 scale representing an Israeli woman soldier in a contemporary field uniform. Sequence number four follows on from the earlier figures of the same line, so the figures can be built into a larger group. The item is supplied without paints, in the natural shade of the casting.

How to set the figure into a scene

A standalone figure comes off best in relation to something else, to a half-open hatch, to a crate at a vehicle wheel, to a second figure. We recommend trying the placing dry first and only then dealing with the fixing. A small detail at the figure's feet also helps: a crate, a jerrycan or a piece of equipment gives the figure a reason to be standing just there. No gap may be left under the soles; even a small crack gives away that the figure is merely lying on the terrain. Fill it with putty or structural paste at the same time as the terrain.

Working with the casting

Washing and degreasing in a lukewarm bath is the first step, then the casting remains and the parting seams come in turn. Sand wet or with your airways protected, because resin dust does not belong in the lungs. Cyanoacrylate glue handles the joining, and on larger surfaces a wire pin helps. Start the painting with a thin base coat so that the features of the face are preserved; finish the face before you start on the uniform.

The box consists of the casting itself; neither paints nor terrain material are in it.
